Ticks are very small arachnids that feed on the blood of warm-blooded animals, including dogs, cats, mice, deer, and, of course, people. A tick will latch onto the skin, dig in its feeding apparatus, and then bite. When the tick is full, it swells in size. Then it drops off the host, only to repeat the cycle again later.
Flea Control
The flea is an insect that feeds on the blood of its host—domestic animals, wildlife and the occasional human are equally susceptible to its bite. Typically making their way into the home via the family pet, difficult flea infestations can appear seemingly overnight, that is why spraying your property during the season is so important. Eggs that are laid on dogs or cats are easily dispersed throughout the home as the pet scratches to relieve itching from irritating bites. While flea bites are typically not painful, in pets and humans alike they resemble a single, raised mark on the skin that may become increasingly itchy and inflamed.
The Process
Treatments are done throughout the property including the grass, foliage of bushes and shrubs, lower limbs of shade trees, tall grass and shaded areas.
Five applications are done per season.
Included with your contract is a list of products to be applied (including brand names, generic names and active ingredients.
Our trained technicians will arrive and treat your entire property. You do not have to be home when our technicians come. The treatment takes about 25 - 40 minutes. We will always leave you a notice that we have treated your property.
